Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using StockForge, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use StockForge on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" means that organization.
2. The Service
StockForge provides cloud-based inventory, purchasing, production, forecasting, reporting, and operations software. The service may include integrations with third-party e-commerce, accounting, shipping, marketplace, CRM, and other business systems that StockForge makes available. Some integrations may be in beta, private preview, or planned for future release and may not be available to all customers.
3. Accounts and Administrators
You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, configuring user permissions, supervising users you invite, and all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Customer Data
You retain ownership of inventory, order, customer, vendor, accounting, shipping, CRM, marketplace, and other business data you submit to StockForge or authorize StockForge to access from connected services. You grant StockForge permission to process Customer Data only as needed to provide, secure, support, maintain, and improve the service; comply with law; and follow your instructions.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit Customer Data to StockForge and to connect third-party services. You are also responsible for the accuracy, quality, legality, and backup of Customer Data you control.
5. Third-Party Integrations
When you connect an integration, you authorize StockForge to access, use, transmit, store, and process data from that service according to your settings and our Privacy Policy. Integrations may use OAuth tokens, API keys, client credentials, webhooks, or similar authorization mechanisms. We request permissions intended to match the features you enable, but you decide whether to grant, deny, disconnect, or revoke access.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, developer policies, rate limits, availability, security practices, and review requirements. StockForge is not responsible for third-party services, changes to their APIs, or their handling of data outside StockForge. You may need an active account, paid plan, admin permission, shipper account, marketplace authorization, or developer approval from the third-party service to use a connector.
6. Integration Data Use Restrictions
StockForge will not sell Customer Data or integration data. We will not use data from connected services for unrelated advertising, unrelated profiling, or training generalized AI models. We will not disclose integration data except as needed to provide StockForge, comply with law, protect security, work with service providers bound by confidentiality obligations, or follow your instructions.
For any Amazon Selling Partner API functionality, StockForge will use Amazon data only for authorized business workflows, will retain Amazon customer personally identifiable information for no longer than 30 days after order delivery unless longer retention is required by law for tax, regulatory, or similar compliance purposes, and will not claim Amazon approval, certification, or endorsement unless separately granted by Amazon.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse StockForge or any connected platform. You may not:
- Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of StockForge or another customer's data.
- Interfere with service operation, security controls, rate limits, or third-party platform requirements.
- Reverse engineer StockForge except where law expressly permits.
- Use StockForge to violate law, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, export controls, sanctions, or third-party terms.
- Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise StockForge, connected services, or other users.
- Use connected platform data beyond the permissions granted by that platform account holder.
8. Subscriptions, Payment, and Changes
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge fees, taxes, and other amounts due for your plan. Prices and plan features may change with reasonable notice unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Refunds, credits, trials, and beta access are provided at our discretion or as stated in the applicable order or plan terms.
9. Confidentiality and Security
Each party may receive confidential information from the other. The receiving party will use reasonable care to protect confidential information and will use it only for purposes allowed under these Terms. StockForge uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect Customer Data, but no online service is completely secure.
10. Data Export, Deletion, and Termination
You may stop using StockForge at any time. Either party may terminate access if the other materially breaches these Terms. We may suspend access to prevent harm, address security risk, comply with law, or respond to unpaid fees. After termination, you may request export or deletion of Customer Data, subject to technical limits, backup retention, legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legitimate business records.
11. Beta and Preview Features
Beta, preview, pilot, or unreleased features may be incomplete, changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time. They are provided for evaluation and may have additional limits, reliability issues, or support constraints. Do not rely on beta features for critical operations unless you have validated them for your own use case.
12. Intellectual Property
StockForge and its software, designs, documentation, website, and related materials are owned by StockForge or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of StockForge intellectual property to you. You may use StockForge only as allowed by these Terms and any applicable order or plan.
13. Disclaimers
StockForge is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. StockForge does not provide legal, tax, accounting, customs, shipping, or compliance advice. Forecasts, automation, reorder suggestions, and reports are operational tools, and you remain responsible for business decisions.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StockForge will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business interruption. StockForge's aggregate liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid to StockForge for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice as required by law or through the service. Continued use of StockForge after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
